| Just purchased and put together a computer myself. These are the components: Samsung 23" LED screen - mega dynamic contrast ( 5,000,000 : 1 ), 2MS / running HDMI cables into it Antec 900ii gaming case Gigabyte Ultra Durable 3 Motherboard Intel i7 - 920 - 2.66Ghz 6gb Corsair RAM - 1600mhz Antec 750 Watt truepower powersupply Sony Dual Layer RW cd / dvd drive 300GB Western Digital Velociraptor - 10,000 RPM I got this as a result of my laptop dying. The Bios in it broke :O and they are quoting something ridiculous like $600 - $700 ( AUD ) to fix it  . What do you guys think of it ? **Edit** Forgot the video card - Sappire Radeon 5870 1gb 256bit

| Cheers  , amazingly enough this was nealy $500 cheaper then my laptop when it was new. and over 2K cheaper then the 5K+ alienwares and all the already put together store bought stuff :O. | |

| My friend actually has one. They are awesome for the first while however I turned his on today, keeping in mind its less then 12 months old, and it was slow and very noisy... And the Cgate hard drives that came with it have both failed and he has had to replace them... | |

Tomorrow ill have:
2.00 GHz Core 2 Duo (2 CPU's)
NVidia Geforce 8400 (GPU)
3 GB of RAM (DDR 2)
Today I already have a new mouse from "Teac", it fits my hand great and I also have a pair of new speakers, with awesome quality and bass.
The rest is old... 60 GB hard disk, fijitsu low-resolution and low radiation (MPR II) screen from the 2001's and all... | |
